When does the course start?

The course will start on Sunday 12 September. The invitation period is only open for a limited time until Thursday 2 September midnight AEST (Sydney time).

Is the course asynchronous (able to be completed at any time)?

Yes. All the core modules are housed on an online platform and a new module will be released each week of the 6-week program. The modules are made of short bite-sized videos, usually 3-5 minutes long, with worksheets and transcripts provided, as well as the editable templates. This means you can complete the content at times that suit your schedule. The 60-minute live group coaching calls are scheduled each fortnight, and will be recorded and loaded to the platform to be viewed at any time. The community is open 24/7 on all global time zones.

Are there any live sessions as part of the program?
Yes - there are 3 x live group coaching calls. In these calls, I’ll be taking live Q&A, do live demos if requested, and go deeper into any content, examples or stories that Changies want more information in. The live sessions will be interactive - and of course, recorded for anyone who can’t join us live.

When will the live group coaching calls be held?

Every fortnight. You’ll get 2 weeks of content, then the following week will be a group coaching call so you’ve had the time to learn, test, and try skills out ahead of the live session. Calls are planned for Wednesdays at 6.00pm Sydney time via Zoom.

Will I get recordings of the group coaching calls if I can’t make it live?

Yes, within 24 hours you’ll receive a replay of the call. And you’ll have access to these replays for the whole 12 months of your access period! So you can watch them back immediately or in a few months’ time, which is especially useful if you’re landing your first Change role or your next change is a little way off.

Why is it 6.00pm - can’t it be later/earlier?

Great question! Everyone has different work and life schedules. 6.00pm is a balanced time because it shoulders the end of the work day without taking up too much of either work time or home time. If you feel this course is important to your career, life and future, then perhaps you’ll need to make it a priority to make the most out of it and make it work for you. That might mean shifting a few things around for a few weeks, having a conversation and getting the support from others (like leaders or partners) to attend, or enjoying the recorded replays of the calls at a time that suits you better. I can’t know what will work for your specific schedule - all I can tell you is that it will be life-changing and #worthit once you learn this stuff.

6.00pm Sydney time in my time zone is the middle of the night / early morning. I don’t want to miss the chance to ask questions and interact live on the group coaching calls. Will other times be provided?

At my discretion, I’ll provide at least one additional call that is 7.00am Sydney time to be inclusive to anyone who can’t regularly make the 6.00pm call so they can have a live call experience, too. Will we have lifetime access to the content of the course?

Most Change accreditation courses are held live over a few days, a week or a semester. You may leave with a textbook, binder and digital tools and templates, but you don’t have access to recordings or trainers beyond the course schedule. I want to make sure you are served differently and provided with the opportunity to revisit the content and get support over many months for real embedded learning and skill development. This is especially helpful if you’re still landing your first role in Change or you’ve got a change that’s a few months off.

How long do I have access to the exclusive and private community?

What if I have something come up and I can’t complete the content and join the calls during the 6 weeks?

I know life happens and while the best experience is to complete the program with the cohort over the 6 weeks, with the BONUS extended access period to 1 year and ongoing support in the community, you can absolutely come back to the course content when life settles down again.

I’m not ready to do the program right now. Can I join later?

You need to make time to improve, even if (in fact, especially if!) you have a demanding job. This will be the last intake for 2021, so you might need to wait 6 months to 1 year before you have the chance to join again.  And there is no guarantee that the price or invitation offer will remain the same (the program will constantly be updated). Each topic seems like a lot to cover in 1-2 hours for each core module - will we have enough time to deep dive properly?

Are all the videos just you talking over slides?

Nope - there are some that are me talking over slides, but I’m a presenter and sort of like the spotlight haha. So the video lessons are a mix of me talking directly to you, talking over slides, doing demonstrations with whiteboards and flipcharts, and doing live walkthroughs of templates on the screen. This keeps it fresh, aids your learning and also means you get more Lata-time (because my energy absolutely comes through).

Do we get the slides?

No - my slides are often quite lean and it’s the additional information I provide as I talk through the tool that adds the real value. Hence why I’m providing the transcripts so you get all that richness, but also worksheets because that’s the best way to learn… your mind asks questions, you hear the answer and fill it in. However for any absolutely critical slides, you will get a downloadable handout.

I’m not working in Change Management yet - will I be able to fully apply the tools and relate them to real work examples?

Absolutely - you will be guided and encouraged to practice what you’re learning as soon as possible (remember - this course is all about practical application). So that might be applying it to a change you’ve experienced, a change coming up (even if you’re not leading it or supporting it - as a stakeholder you’ll still be able to observe the change in progress), or a change happening right now.

No - Change Management certification is a lengthy and detailed accreditation that requires classes and exams, and often many thousands of dollars and time off work to attain. How many people will be on the program? What will the group size be?

It is how many people register, plus the community who joined the pilot. At this stage, as the program is brand new, this is a beautifully small and intimate group - which might be especially nice for introverts or people with quieter personalities.

Do I have to have a paid Zoom account to join the sessions?

No, not at all. You may have to download the free Zoom client on your device, but access to the Zoom sessions is free (I’m the one with the paid account, and you join my session - pretty neat, huh?).

I don’t want to be recorded on the live group coaching calls - can I stay anonymous?

Absolutely - during the Zoom meeting, you can choose to keep your camera off, change your name on the Zoom call to “Anonymous” via your video tile, and this will make your questions anonymous. Alternatively, you can just watch back the recorded replays. But because the program at this stage will be small and intimate, I do hope that you show up on the live calls as the beautiful amazing you that you are and so that myself and others can support you as you learn this amazing life-changing stuff!

Can I stay anonymous in the community?

No - the community is designed to build a trusting space for those Changies who want to connect, ask questions, share experiences and ideas, and be an ongoing professional global network of like-minded souls. I’m working on a confidential change - can I stay confidential?

Yes, you definitely can.  I know some changes, such as restructures and operating model changes, might need to be kept confidential. Not all attendees of the Leading Successful Change program will be currently planning or running a change right now, so your attendance really just means you're interested in creating an incredible employee experience, whether now or in the future! But if you're super cautious, it's easy to remain anonymous on the course - keep your camera off, change your name on the Zoom call to "Anonymous" (see the options on your video tile), and this will make your questions and comments anonymous. Or simply don't disclose anything in the Chat or Question Time and talk in hypotheticals - the freedom is yours. Alternatively, you can watch back the recorded replays instead (if you really want to be on the safe side!). I want to do whatever it takes to make sure you’re able to still get served… some changes are kept so secret it can actually be really hard to get the support you need to talk things through, so let’s figure out how to make this work for you.

I’m shy / an introvert / a quieter personality. Will I still get all the benefits of the program?
