Podcasts I love for curating positivity and productivity
Aug 26, 2025
I have a photographic memory. It's not eidetic. I don't remember everything I see. But it is very photographic and very strong with me. So, because I knew that I was visual, not auditory, I just assumed podcasts wouldn't be a thing for me. It took me ages to get onto the bandwagon. Now that I'm on the bandwagon, it's actually really good. Not even to necessarily learn, just sometimes to have something playing in the background when I'm walking or driving, having a shower, doing stretches or even just winding down for bed.
I also use them to listen to things that are going to fuel me and inspire me. Modern work (especially Change Management) can be so challenging, draining and exhausting, that you need to own your own environment and think what are those little things that you can build into your day to help revive your energy and fuel your tank back up.
Here are the 3 podcasts I have on repeat weekly:
Chill & Prosper podcast: Denise Duffield-Thomas’ podcast is a business-focused podcast for women but it actually delves more into money mindset, manifestation, goals and boundaries than business how-to so it’s a lovely boost of inspiration.
Weekly Energy Boost podcast: This podcast from the Kabbalah Centre led by host Elisheva Balas is the first podcast I ever listened to and provides a spiritual roadmap to navigate the coming 7 days. Even if you don’t study Kabbalah or resonate with spirituality, the topics and ideas are so broad that episodes cover everything from abundance, astrology, and manifestation to communication, relationships, and purpose.
AstroTwins Radio podcast: I’m not a die-hard astrology buff and I get a little lost in all the talk of planetary retrogrades, squares and trines but the overarching message of this podcast hosted by Ophira and Tali Edut is positive and empowering. Sometimes this podcast gets a little political and can be a dampener on my mood but I’d rather be getting an overview of the situation in the US from a positive source than a dooms-daying one.
Other podcasts that have been incredible inspiration in the past include:
Tony Robbins podcast: I absolutely love the case studies with specific business leaders and entrepreneurs and this podcast was how I got introduced to inspirational leaders like Sara Blakely of Spanx, Martine Rothblatt of United Therapeutics, and Danny Meyer of Shake Shack.
Biz Alchemy podcast: This wonderful podcast from my intuitive business coach Jacquelyn Atkins doesn’t run any more but the back catalogue of early episodes that talk about business energy and alignment, the witch wound, and cycle syncing are still some of my favourite things to listen to.
Seize the Yay podcast: Again, one of my earlier inspirational podcasts with Sarah Davidson, I loved the interviews with diverse guests and interesting brands - plus lots of Aussies to boot.
Diary of a CEO podcast: This one hosted by Steven Bartlett was an auto-play chance and occasionally there’s an episode title and guest interesting enough for me to commit to the long-form interview style with researchers, academics, global leaders, and business people.
And of course, I love listening to podcasts on the topics of Change Management, Career and Career Change, and in fact have been on several as a guest myself (check them all out on my Podcasts page).
I love being an inspiration to others and my next major event to inspire will be my free Career Relevance Challenge in September. I’m putting the finishing touches on the workshop now and would love to hear what you’d like me to make sure I include. If you’re happy to help, I have just two questions to ask you:
